Tools of the Trade: Alpine & Telemark Skis
Experience: Experience: Prior to being in the NW, I spent 15 yrs skiing and teaching full-time in Park City, Utah. Eight of those years were with Park City Mountain Resort with the remainder at The Canyons. I’m certified Alpine Level 3, Telemark Level 3, was a PSIA-I Examiner and PSIA-I Demo Team member and I’m a part of the divisional staff here in PSIA-NW.
Background: : When your dad’s from Switzerland, you can expect to spend some time skiing…make that a lot of time. I feel fortunate to have winter memories from childhood that center around weekend Vermont treks to go skiing. The 6 hours trapped in the backseat on the way to Mad River Glen were worth every minute. Every moment I get to be on snow sharing this amazing joyous sport is one where I feel fortune smiling on me yet again.
